Linden Brick Plaza
Linden Brick Plaza Project

The memorial brick project started by the Monon Railroad Historical-Technical Society, Inc. about 2 years ago and is now taking on steam.

We are pleased to announce the completion of a brick patio next to the restored Monon flat car #32258 at the Linden Railroad Museum in Linden, Indiana. The patio, flat car and proposed benches will form a perfect train viewing area/ picnic grounds.

The courtyard is also a remembrance to Indiana's railroad legacy. As envisioned the patio will be 40 feet by 20 feet and will link to the existing exhibits and museum sidewalks with bricks. Aproximately 4000 bricks will be required to complete the patio and construction is scheduled to be completed by the July 8, 2006 Open House at the Linden Museum.
